Marcy’s Weight Loss Tips...

Meet Marcy Lynn, cake decorator extraordinaire at Brown's. Working in the bakery is not the easiest place to be when you're trying to lose weight, but Marcy set a goal to lose 75 pounds by the end of 2011. She lost 72! How did she do it? We ask Marcy...

1. Eat lots of fruits & veggies—my favorite is grilled squash & zuicchini.                                                              

2. Set goals, have a plan & stick to it. If you mess up it’s not the end of the world, get right back to the plan. 

3. Try new things & challenge yourself everyday. It’s a life change.

I realized I needed help in this area & when I reached out, tons of people were there to help me. I followed Weight Watchers and work out at least 2-3 times a week. I now eat to live, not live to eat. I will eat like this for the rest of my life. I always tell myself "nothing tastes as good as thin feels". I have tons more energy to keep up with my three boys!
