Eccentric, creative, fun loving and more than a little crazy! That’s how Carrie Kling describes herself. At Brown’s, we just call her wonderful!
Carrie was born and raised in York County. Being home schooled gave her a lot of great life experiences at a young age. Graduating in 2001, Carrie began working at Brown’s that same year managing the ice cream stand. She also helped grade peaches in produce, worked the apple table, entered holiday gift basket orders in the office, helped in the dish room, and eventually ended up in the deli doing the full-time kitchen prep. Carrie became Deli Manager in May 2007.
Daughter of Jeff Folkenroth (Brown’s Produce Manager), Carrie says she enjoys working with her dad. She feels they’re “two peas in a pod” and have the same work ethic and self motivation, so they work well together.
Carrie married the man God intended for her - Leroy Kling - in May of 2004. They are expecting their first child in October.
Most important to Carrie are her relationships with Jesus and her family. She loves animals, writing (poetry, songs, plays etc.) music, photography and anything creative. This time of year brings her inspiration! She looks around at all of the beautiful blooms God has “springing” forth and wants to capture them in a picture or just breathe in the awesomeness of it all!
