Children! Animals and Flowers! These are passions of Connie Lutz,
our assistant deli manager! When she hears a child’s voice in the market, her heart jumps! No matter what, she’s a cheery optimist and people lover.

Born in York, with 2 brothers and 4 sisters, she was next to the oldest. She did a heap of baby-sitting, worked in the family business (Penn Textile Company), ushered since the age of 14 and was assistant manager at the Holiday Theater as well as being a waitress for many years. She graduated from York Catholic High School in 1965.

Married to Terry, Connie is the mother of two wonderful daughters (Valerie and Christina) and grandmother of 2 (ages 3 and 5) and one-to-be. Through the illness and recent loss of her husband, she’s received her strength through of her strong faith in God and her supportive work family at Brown’s She believes that because of Him, we can be good people and never be alone, no matter the ups and downs of life.

Connie has worked hard in our deli for 4 years, loves the people she serves and all those who work with her. She calls Brown ’s her second home. Connie Lutz is truly a great asset to our team…and an inspiration to us all.
