This month we shine the spotlight on one of our great employees
whom you would seldom see! Lori Miller is Nighttime Asst. Bakery
Manager. Brown’s is convenient to her home and she enjoys the
nighttime hours as they give her more time with her son, Andrew,
and her parents, Joyce and Zane. She enjoys her fellow employees
and the variety of work she does at night so that you may have fresh
baked goods at 8 AM
Lori, the second youngest of 4, graduated from York Vo-Tech
in 1979. She was a cook in the military for 3 years before graduating
from Penn State University with a B.S. degree in Restaurant and
Hotel Management. She worked at the Yorktowne Hotel for 9 years
and also at the Historic Strasburg Inn before coming to Brown’s.
Now in the eighth grade, son Andrew enjoys all sports and is an excellent bowler. He will begin his Eagle Boy Scout project next summer. Other than spending time with Andrew, Lori’s favorite relaxation is flower gardening. You may also find her enjoying a mystery, classic rock music or watching “The Survivor.” She believes in dwelling on what is important and not worrying about the small stuff. Thank you, Lori, for your hard work serving on Brown’s team!
