Awards
The Brown family and Farm Market are proud and humbled recipients of the following awards and recognition:
2001 - 2008 - Brown's Orchards & Farm Market was voted both # 1 BAKERY and #1 LOCAL FRUIT by readers of York Newspapers.
2007 - The Sertoma Club of York honored Stanley Brown with the Service to Mankind Award, presented annually to a York Countian for "significant and meritorious service to our community."
2003 – Brown’s own-made apple cider takes 3rd place at the National Farm Direct Marketing Association's cider contest.
2002 – The York Area Chamber of Commerce and the Penn State Extensions Service awarded Brown’s Orchards the Annual “Agri-Business" award for being the outstanding Ag/Industry in the county.
2000 - Nona Brown, a breast cancer survivor, received the first "Healthy Hero" award given by the Susan Byrnes Health Education Center for promotion of healthful eating and lifestyles.

2000 - Stan Brown, who also served as president of the State Horticulture Association, was awarded the association's annual "Outstanding Grower" Award.
1998 - Brown's Orchards & Farm Market was the recipient of the "Small Business of the Year" Award by the York Area Chamber of Commerce.
1998 - Stan received the second annual honorary degree given by Dallastown Area High School in recognition for being an exemplary role model for graduates. He was a school board president and member for 14 years.
Stan has also received awards given by local groups he has served: The Lion's Ambulance Club, Lions' Melvin Jones Award, Farm and Natural Lands Trust of York County (served 6 years as its first president), and the Loganville Fire Company.
1993 - The prestigious "Master Farmer" title was awarded to Stan Brown by the Pennsylvania Farmer Magazine and the Penn State Extension Service.

1989 - The Brown family received the third annual "Farm Family of the Year" award, given by the York Area Chamber of Commerce.
