Delivery Options

As you place items in the cart, and proceed to checkout, you will notice the options for pickup or delivery may change depending on the items chosen. This is because we offer gift baskets for pickup and local delivery, and we offer gift boxes for shipping. We do not want to compromise the quality of our gift baskets by shipping them, but we offer a wonderful line of gift boxes for shipping.

Gift Baskets for Pickup/Local Delivery

Our quality gift baskets are available for order throughout the year. These baskets can be ordered for pickup or local delivery (the zipcode will determine elligibility for local delivery). You can enter the delivery zip code in the zip code box before you add an item to the cart, to determine if the zip code is in range. Also, a list of valid zip codes for local delivery is available here.

Gift Boxes for Pickup or Shipping

We have added a line of new Gift Boxes in new attractive shipping boxes. Browse and choose your favorites. Our boxes can be shipped throughout the continental U.S.; however, fresh fruit and baked goods boxes cannot be shipped to AZ or CA.

 

Lead Times

Upon ordering and checking out, you will see a "Next Aavailable Date" proposed which is calculated based on the type of product you are ordering. This date may be changed to a later date, and in some cases can be changed to an earlier date for a premium fee.

For earliest preparation of your order, please place by 2PM, otherwise the date will be moved out one day. During the busy "holiday rush", if your basket or box contains bakery products, the available date is move out one day to give our bakery time to schedule their very busy work.

Please note that lead times may be extended depending upon availablity of product.

 

Guidelines for choosing shipping method

When choosing parishables (fruit and/or bakery), please use judgement in determining the shipping method. In general the following rules will help ensure you receive your items in excellent quality.

  • Fresh Fruit - when shipping fruit, use an option which will ensure your goods arrive within 3 days. The fruit will stay fresh much longer, however we want to make sure that the fruit does not spend too much time in a potentially warm environment while in transit. Note, that as you select certain shipping options, you will be limited in the actual date of shipment to ensure fruit does not rest with UPS over the weekend. (e.g. if you select ground, and attempt to select a shipping date of Wednesday, we will change the shipping date to the next Monday, to ensure the fruit arrives before Saturday).
  • Bakery Items - We recommend you select a shipping option which will ensure your goods arrive within 2 days to ensure freshness. As with all shipping options, we protect your purchase by not allowing bakery items to ship on certain days, to ensure goods arrive before Saturday.

 

Business Customers

For you, our business customer, we will gladly set up a billing account for you which will allow you to order from our site without using a credit card. You will be supplied a password to allow billing to your account.
