Tues, May 2 - NEW! Senior Exercise Class; 10-11am

Low intensity exercise class for senior citizens that includes yoga exercises as well as other exercise activities. Held in Brown's outdoor pavilion. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing that allows for movement. Class lead by a Brown's Orchards exercise instructor. $5 per person collected each time.  Save 10% on purchases in the market on Tuesdays for adults 65+. York College RN will provide free blood pressure screenings before class 9-10am.

Wed, May 3 - Kids Craft Night, 5:30-6:30

Kids 12 & under eat free in the Cafe on Wednesday nights after 4pm with each adult meal purchased (min $7). Plus from 5:30-6:30pm kids will receive a ticket with their meal to enjoy a free craft, science experiment & story time. This month's theme is the Honey Bee.

Thurs, May 4 - National Day of Prayer Service Noon-1pm

Brown's pavilion will host a National Day of Prayer service on this First Thursday in May. This event is where all prayer ministries and teams come together once a year to pray for our County, Commonwealth, City of York, and County of York. Everyone is welcome. Pastor Tom Beck of St. Peter's Church will lead the service.

Hand-dipped Hershey's ice cream at the Shack and mouth watering, tasty pit meats and more at The Pit. Open weekends in May 11am-6pm.

Sat, May 13 - Break-A-Thon for H.O.P.E.; 11am-2pm

This high energy, community event has become a recurrent crowd pleaser and visual way to raise awareness of the work of H.O.P.E. Students of Ryu Pa Karate Shrewsbury & Delta collect sponsorships to break boards using their martial arts skills. Stop by and support these students & HOPE.

Sat, May 13 - Open Mic Night, 4-7pm

Hosted by Art Wachter, this acoustic open mic invites talented musicians to show up and entertain our Cafe patrons. Stop in the Logan's View wine shop for free wine tastings and purchase a bottle to enjoy in the Cafe with dinner or dessert. 

Sun, May 14 - Free Ice Cream for Mom!

Bring Mom to the Shiver Shack to enjoy a free ice cream cone on us.  Open 11am-6pm.

Thurs, May 20 - Armed Forces Day; 1-4pm

In celebration of Armed Forces Day, Brown's is inviting all military families to send us a photo that we will include in a special video that will air in our pavilion from 1-2pm. Email your military family photo to donna@brownsorchards.com no later than April 21st. Special discount on Ice cream and Pit BBQ for all vets, plus free goodies, flag ceremony and singing of the national anthem. First Capitol Detachment of the Marine Corps League color guard.

Fri, May 26 - Orchard to Table Dinner; 6:30-9pm

An Asparagus and Strawberry themed 5-course dinner paired with Collusion Tap Works craft beer. Menu: Strawberry bread topped with smoked pork & strawberry sauce; Asparagus Soup, Spinach salad with strawberry jam poppy seed vinaigrette; Smoked prime rib with strawberry horseradish, roasted fingerling potatoes and white asparagus; and a cinnamon apple cocoa angel food cake with fresh strawberries and chocolate ganache. $60 per person. Limited seating and reservations required. Acoustic entertainment by Melanie Hemling.

Our Sunday Concert Series kicks off with the energetic rock band, Skyla Burrell.

Mon, May 29 - Memorial Day Wagon Parade; 1-4pm

Kids 4-11 years of age are invited to decorate their wagon in a Patriotic theme and enter it into our Wagon Parade Contest. The parade will begin at 2pm. Prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Cost is $5 per wagon and includes a wagon ride around our farm with your family. Complete this Registration Form and drop it off or mail it in with your $5 registration fee. General public are invited to watch the parade and take a wagon ride around our farm, $1 per person.

Family fun event to celebrate strawberry season. Kids are invited to dress up as their favorite super hero or just meet our Super Hero characters. Yard Games, Photo Booth, face painting, food & gift vendors, blow up slide and more. Free admission, fee for some activities.

Sun, June 4 - Community Yard Sale; 9am-1pm

Rent a space for $10 and join us for a Community Yard Sale. Space fee to benefit Young Life and Hospice House. Small businesses are also welcome (Avon, Tastefully Simple, etc limited to one per business type). Yard Sale held in the grassy area to the right of the entrance. Reservation Form

Berry Special Days is a fun activity for kids 12 & under and takes place at Brown's Yellow Church Road Pick-Your-Own farm. $8 per child inclues each child picking a box of strawberries to take home, a strawberry craft and education on growing strawberries. (Parents expected to stay during event; welcome to pick strawberries on their own for an additional fee). Reservations & pre-payment required.
