2014 Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Vouchers will be distributed by the York County Area on Agency in Brown's Pavilion.

July 24 - Story time with Mary Brown, 9:30 in the Cafe

Join us each Thursday morning in the Cafe for Children's story time. Free.

This week Mary will read books all about Camping and frogs!

July 24 - Container Garden Workshop, 11am-Noon

Repurpose a unique container with a beautiful new garden. Class fee $5, plus plants and supplies.  Bring your own container or purchase one here. Pre-register by July 17. 717-428-2036 x264.

July 26 - DreamWrights Shakespeare in the Park, 5pm

William Shakespeare's fastest moving farce, "The Comedy of Errors", will be performed on our pavilion stage.  Great for all audiences to enjoy!

July 27 - Tall in the Saddle Concert, 2:30-5pm

This band started in 1985 with three of the founding members still in the band - Stan "Chili Bear" is led singer & drummer, Gordie plays pedal steel, lap steel and dobro, Gene Roads plays bass and sings.  Newest member Gene Kahler plays piano, bass and sings. Enjoy their country, 50's & 60's music!

This week Mary will read books all about things on the go - trains, planes, bus, cars!

August Events

August 1 - Red Cross Blood Drive, Noon-5:30pm

The American Red Cross blood mobile will be at Brown's for you to make a life saving donation.  Give us a call to schedule an appointment, 717-428-2036 x0.  All donors receive a $2.50 off Turkey Hill ice cream coupon and a Brown's sugar cake.

 

August 2 - Open Mic Night, 4-7pm

Join us for this acoustic open mic night hosted by Art Wachter in our Cafe or weather permitting on the patio!  Stop by the Logan's View wine shop for free wine tastings then purchase a bottle of your favorite to enjoy with the music.

August 3 - Red Lion Felton Band, 2:30-5pm

This all volunteer community concert band is under the direction of William Ritz.  Come out and enjoy their Patriotic tunes and more!

Old fashioned cake walk during intermission!

August 7 - Succulent Container Workshop, 10-11am

Succulents are not only interesting in appearance, but easy to maintain too! During this hands-on class we'll teach you all about succulents while you design your own arrangement to take home. August 10 - 3 Dollar Suit Concert, 2:30-5pm

This band plays a unique blend of modern fold music melding originals with select cover songs. The band is proud of its southern York County roots - its CD "Grainery Road" is titled after a country byway near the Orchards.

August 16 - Royal Peach Day, 10am-2pm

Family fun continues with alpacas, face painting, a pig, story time with Queen Bee, games, crafts, peach pie eating contest and more!

Come dressed like royalty!

August 16 - Chris Smither Concert, $Tickets, 8pm

Songside Concerts presents award winning folk & blues artist, Chris Smither, to our Brown's pavilion stage.  Mr. B's BBQ, the Shiver Shack and Logan's View wine available for purchase prior to and during the concert.  Tickets are $28.50 and available online here and at the door.

August 17 - Jim Parsley, Memories of Elvis, 2:30-5pm

Brown's pavilion stage is excited to welcome Elvis impersonator, Jim Parsley, with his "Memories of Elvis" performance.
