FEBRUARY 2012 Feb 2-22 - Apple Head Doll Contest Voting. Stop in and check out this year's entries into our annual Apple Head Doll Contest. They are displayed on our apple table. Cast a vote for your favorite. Winners announced Feb. 23rd. Fri - Sun, Feb 3-5 - Feature Flavor Weekend - Blueberry Bliss Stop in the market this weekend and enjoy everything "Blueberry"! Blueberry pies, muffins, cheesecake bars, turnovers, cinnamon buns, fresh blueberries, blueberry tea, butter, spreads, preserves, fudge and more. Thurs, Feb 9 - Chocolate Covered Strawberries Available! White or Dark chocolate. Order by the pound or by the count, and they will be in-store for sale at our bakery counter.
Fri - Sun, Feb 10-12 - Feature Flavor Weekend - Sweets for Your Sweet! Aaah, yes. As if we need a reason to feature chocolate and sugar. Stop in the market this weekend and find the perfect treat for your sweet (and I little for yourself), enjoy! Fri & Sat, Feb 10 & 11 - Un-Valentine's Dinner in the Brown Bean Cafe. 4-7pm Looking for a place to go out over Valentine's weekend without being surrounded by love-birds? Singles, platonic couples, the socially awkward, girlfriends nite out...and we suppose actual couple too, are invited to our unromantic dinner. Make your reservations (last seating 6:00pm) by calling 717-428-2036 x0. Order off the menu or enjoy our special Un-Valentine's Menu of meatloaf, mac-n-cheese, salad or applesauce and dirt parfait for dessert, $9.95/person. We have only a few rules...NO holding hands, NO awkward staring, NO kissing and NO sappy love songs. Sat & Sun, Feb 11 & 12 - Special Valentine's meal for parent & children. 11am-2pm Adults can take advantage of our "Dinner for 2" deal and kids can order a heart-shaped sandwich. And of course we have Valentine cookies for dessert. Make a card for someone special. Enjoy live music by violinists (Sat only) and a special visit by Blossom. Sat & Sun, Feb 11 & 12 - FREE Wine & Chocolate tastings at Logan's View Wine shop. 11am-7pm FREE wine tasting of Logan's View reds - Chambourcin, Cabernet Sauvignon & Commonwealth paired with chocolate...sweet! Fri - Sun, Feb 17-19 - Feature Flavor Weekend - Chock Full of Cherries Stop in the market this weekend for everything "Cherries"! Sat, Feb 18 - Meet the Artist Night & Free Concert. 5:00-6:30pm Meet York County artist, Sally Smith, and view some of her work. Enjoy free refreshments and Logan's View wine tastings.
