Hayrides - Weekends through Oct 26th

No Fall is complete without a family hayride around our Yellow Church Road farm.  Hayrides are available Saturdays 10am-6pm and Sundays 11am-4pm (weather permitting). $3 per person. You can also pick-your-own apples and pumpkins, prices vary.

Sept 25 - Story Time with Mary Brown, 9:30 in the Cafe

Join us each Thursday morning in the Cafe for Children's story time. Free.

This week Mary will read books on of our favorite subject...Apples!

Sept 26 - Orchard to Table Fall Dinner Class, 6:30-9:30pm

This interactive 5-course culinary class features Brown's Apples and other local fare. Join Dave Brown for a walking tour of the apple trees followed by a fun dinner class with Chef Ken & Chef Tom. Menu includes: Apple Walnut Salad, Butternut Squash & Apple Soup, Caramelized Onion Mushroom Apple Tart, Braised Chicken & Apples and an Apple dessert. Each dish is paired with a Logan's View wine.  Tickets are $50pp and limited.

Sept 27 - Local Author, Demi Stevens Book Signing, 11-2

Our September featured author is Demi Stevens, founder of Year of the Book, a program designed to help authors finish the books they've always dreamed of writing. Come meet Demi at a book signing for her children's book, "Write Away". You can also join her for story time during our Fall Fun Day this same day at 3:30!

Sept 27 - Fall Family Fun Day, 3-6pm

Held at our market, bring the kids out for some fall fun with yard games, straw mountain and mini-maze, apple balloon typhoon, Face painting by Makin' Faces ($) and story time with Demi Stevens at 3:30. Free admission.

Entertainment by the Dallastown alumni band, Blue Silk & Satin from 5-7pm.

Sept 27 - Blue Silk & Satin Concert, 5-7pm

Dallastown High School alumni from the classes of 1966 to present gather to play your favorite Big Band Jazz music!

Sept 28 - Beggar's Ride Concert, 2:30-5pm

Join us for the contemporary folk duo of Claudia SanSoucie and Kate Maguire on Brown's pavilion stage.

Held at our market, bring the kids out for some fall fun with yard games, straw mountain and mini-maze, apple balloon typhoon, Face painting by Makin' Faces ($) and more. Free admission, fees for some activities.

Entertainment by Brassai The Band, a group of high school students playing classic rock.  4-5:30pm.

Oct 5 - Walter Crider & Old Time Way Concert, 2:30-5pm

Five-Member band playing bluegrass, old time country and gospel.

Oct 11 & 12 - Civil War Living History Camp Out

Come on out and learn a little about how the men and women of the Civil War era lived as re-enactors from the 45th Volunteer Infantry Company K camp out over the weekend here at Brown's.

Oct 11 - Container Garden Workshop, 11am-Noon

The last of our garden workshops for the season. Join our garden specialist for step-by-step instructions on how to make a stunning container garden for your porch. Learn our filler, spiller, thriller method. Helf in Brown's pavilion. $5 class fee, plus plants and supplies. Register by Oct 3rd, 717-428-2036 x264.

Oct 11 - Local Author Book Signing, DC McLaughlin; 11-2

Our featured author for October is D.C. McLaughlin. She specializes in writing fantasy hero quests, modern fairy tales and paranormal stories.  Both her vampire novel, "Deadly Conversations" and her Teen Fantasy novel, "Wanderling's Choice" are on sale in the market in October. She will be here signing copies of both books on Oct 11th from 11am-2pm.

Oct 11 - Open Mic Night; 4-7pm

Join Art Wachter for a great night of acoustic entertainment in our Cafe.  Be part of the night's performers or simply sit back and enjoy.

Free Logan's View Wine tasting in the wine shop. Feel free to purchase a bottle to drink during the music.

Oct 12 - Dockenspeilers Concert; 2:30-5pm

Our final concert for the season bring the fun Octoberfest sounds of the Dockenspeilers with their polkas, waltzes and other traditional German music.

Mr. B's BBQ and the Shiver Shack will be open.
