April 24 - Story time, 9:30 in the Cafe

Join us each Thursday morning in the Cafe for Children's story time. Free.

This week our friend, Cathy Leibfried will be back again to read books about Gardens.

April 26 - Blossom's Garden Party & Birthday Celebration, 10am-1pm

Join us for our first family fun event of the season! Come dig and plant at our  Children's Garden, play yard games, make a craft, enjoy face painting, story time with local author Donna Ferguson, and meet the Whispering Rise Farm's rescue pig.  And of course birthday cake to celebrate Blossom's Birthday.  Weather permitting we'll have hayrides around the orchard.

April 26 - Book Signing with Heather Mosko, 11am-2pm

Stop in for the new release book signing for "Such Beautiful Deadly Things" by local author Heather Mosko.

This is the 3rd book by Heather. Be sure to check out "Lake Meade" and "Sunk".  All great books for taking on vacation!

May Events 

May 1 - Story time with Mary Brown, 9:30 in the Cafe

Join us each Thursday morning in the Cafe for Children's story time. Free.

This week Mary will read books about fairies & Peter Pan.

 

May 1 - National Day of Prayer, Noon in the Pavilion

All are welcome to join in the National Day of Prayer service beginning at Noon in our pavilion.

May 3 - Open Mic Night, 4-7pm

Hosted by Art Wachter, this acoustic open mic night, brings some great musical talent to Brown's.  Weather permitting, open mic is held outside on the patio. Logan's View wine shop offers free wine tastings and you are welcome to enjoy a bottle in our cafe or on the patio during open mic.

May 7 - Brown's Closing early at 5pm

Brown's Annual Employee Appreciation party will take place on May 7th.  The market and cafe will close early at 5:00pm so that all of our employees can attend.

May 8 - Story time with Mary Brown, 9:30 in the Cafe

May 9 - Red Cross Blood Drive, Noon-5:30pm

The American Red Cross Blood Mobile will be in the Brown's parking lot for all those looking to make a life saving donation.  All donors will receive a Brown's sugar cake.  To schedule an appointment give us a call at 717-428-2036 x0.

May 10 - UTA Karate Break-a-thon to benefit H.O.P.E.

From 11am-2pm, karate will take over our pavilion.  Come out and watch the excitement and skill. Learn a little about karate and support H.O.P.E.

May 10- Opening of Brown's Ice Cream Snack Bar & new! BBQ!

Join us for delicious Hershey's ice cream and our own BBQ served in the pavilion area weekends in May from 11am-6pm, weather permitting.

May 11 - FREE ice cream for all Moms this Mother's Day

Bring Mom out to Brown's for ice cream on Mother's Day.  Every mom receives a free small ice cream, because you deserve it!
