Preschoolers are invited each Thursday morning at 9:30 for story time with Mary Brown.

May Events

May 2nd - Ice Cream for Breakfast Event! 8am-11am

You're invited to come in your PJs and join us as we kick off the opening of our Shiver Shack with a selection of specialty breakfast sundaes only available during this event - including waffles, donuts, sticky buns and more...all topped with Hershey's ice cream!  All sundaes served with your choice of fresh brewed coffee or Brown's Apple Cider.  Then starting at 11am, the Shack will serve items from our regular menu.  New for 2015 - Shaved ice snow cones!

May 7 - Story Time, 9:30 in the Cafe

Mary will share stories about Moms!

 

May 7 - National Day of Prayer Service

A community prayer service will be held in Brown's outdoor pavilion beginning at Noon. All are welcome.

May 8 - American Red Cross Blood Drive, Noon-5:30pm

The American Red Cross blood mobile will be in Brown's parking lot.  Give us a call 717-428-2036 x0 to schedule your life saving donation.  Free Brown's sugar cake for all donors.

May 9 - UTA Karate Break-A-Thon for H.O.P.E.  11am-3pm

Karate takes over Brown's outdoor pavilion for the day when students and instructors from UTA Karate host their annual break-a-thon to benefit HOPE.  Stop by and watch the excitement and skill!

May 9 - Special Dinner for Mother's Day in Cafe

The Brown Bean Cafe is taking reservations for a special Mother's Day dinner on Sat., May 9th.  Seatings are available at 4:30pm or 7:00pm.  A special 4-course menu has been designed by Chef David at $40pp.  Children's menu available for kids 12 & under at $15pp.  Reservations can be made by phone 717-428-2036 x0 or online.

May 10 - FREE ice cream cone for all MOMs

Bring Mom out to the Shiver Shack on Mother's Day for a free ice cream cone.  Shiver Shack is open 11am - 6pm on Sundays.

Mr. B's Pit BBQ is also open, so treat mom to lunch too!

May 14 - Story Time, 9:30 in the Cafe

May 16 - Village Library Kids Fun Day, 10am-Noon

Jacobus Village Library kicks off their Summer Reading Program with games, crafts, face painting and more at Brown's.

 

May 16 - Open Mic Night, 4-7pm in the Cafe

Hosted by Art Wachter, this acoustic open mic night is a great way to relax, enjoy a delicious meal and some great musical entertainment.  Logan's View wine shop is offering free wine tastings during the event.

Our Sunday Summer Concerts kick-off May 31st with the jazz sounds from the Dallastown Alumni Blue Silk & Satin Band.  Our Sunday concerts are FREE and sponsored by WGTY & Flipside!
